Bingo balls are obviously essential to any bingo game. In fact without them lets face it there would be no game. Over the years they have changed greatly and modern day bingo balls come in all shapes and sizes. Early bingo games were often played with wooden balls and some bingo halls still use these wooden bingo balls for a nice authentic feel. Well that or they can’t afford new ones!
There are loads of different bingo balls designs out there and everyone has their own personal favourites. The most important factor where bingo balls are concerned is number visibility. If you can’t make out the number then you aren’t going to be having a very efficient game! Usually you will find, even with coloured bingo balls that the numbers are written quite large and in black surrounded by a white background to avoid any confusion.
People do not realise but there is a big difference between bingo balls and lottery balls. On a lottery ball you will find the number written multiple times and all the balls will often be the same colour. Well bingo balls are a bit different as they only have the number written on once and some of the nicest sets will be colour coded by number. For example 1-10 might be blue and 11-20 might be green.
If you are planning to have a few friends round and you want to play bingo then a great tip to save some money if you can’t afford a full set of bingo balls is to just buy ping pong balls and write the numbers on. You should have no problem finding enough ping pong balls to do the job perfectly for you.
With your bingo balls your are always going to need a master board. This is a place where you can keep the bingo balls once they have been taken from the cage. If you use a master board to store your bingo balls on then you won’t have them rolling all over the place and you will be able to keep track of what numbers have been drawn much much easier!
Wooden Bingo Balls
Wooden Bingo balls were the first type of bingo ball to be used. They had a few problems with splinters though and you had to make sure no one had any sand paper in their handbag!
Titan Bingo Balls
Titan bingo balls are ping pong ball size and represent a classic bingo image with the blue number inside the red circle. Apparently the numbers printed on the inside of these bingo balls never wear off. One half of the ball is white, and the other half can be any of the five following colors: blue, red, white, green or yellow or an assortment of these colors.
TV System Bingo Balls
TV System bingo balls are special becasue they are printed double sided for ease of reading. TV System Bingo Balls are numbered B-1 through O-75. These balls measure 1 1/2″ in diameter.
Sampson Bingo Balls
Sampson bingo balls are numbered B-1 through O-75. These balls are labeled on one side, multi-colored on the other and are printed on the inside to extend the life of the ball. Samson bingo balls are produced to the strictest specs, making it one of the finest bingo balls on the market.
Bingo Ball Masterboard
Here is an example of a bingo ball masterboard. Once the balls are drawn from the cage then they are placed in the depressed areas to keep track of the game thats currenty in progress.

Well first I’d like to welcome everyone to my new bingo blog here at Bingo Deposit Bonus check out the link for the homepage. As you can see I’m their new resident bingo expert and am going to be using my blog as a way to bring all of the hot topic bingo news to all of bingo deposit bonus visitors. I might even throw in some of my personal bingo experience and stories if your lucky!
I thought what better way than to start things of than to tell you all little bit about me. Firstly as you might have already guessed by the big letters at the top – my name is Sally Crown. I have been playing online bingo for just over a year now and loving every minute of it.
Secondly I thought I better tell you that they’ve have a cartoon version of me drawn up to go with the blog – I’ll post the image below. Wouldn’t we all love to look like that in real life! I do however have blonde hair but I don’t spend too much time wearing cocktail dresses that’s for sure! I would advise people to take the picture with a pinch of salt if you know what I mean!
Anyway I am 34 years old and I currently live in Manchester, England with my partner of 3 years who for now will remain nameless. We don’t have any kids yet and I’m still waiting for him to propose – but you never know right?!

We have had lots of people sending us in their own online bingo stories and this one comes from someone who doesn’t want to revel their name but felt compelled to share their story with us.
After I had suffered a long bought of depression due to a bereavement friends of mine suggested I try online bingo. I decided I would try out 888 bingo as it seemed to be centered around ladies. They told me how it had helped them when they had been down and unable to get out of the house. I started to find it a really great way to make many new friends and find people to talk to and people who understood just how I was feeling.
I wasn’t sure how to get online at first although I had a PC just ready and waiting. My son showed me how. He sorted out the technical side of things and showed me how to find bingo sites. I soon found that I was playing and chatting everyday on 888 bingo. This helped take my mind off my own troubles and I found friends who were caring and understanding and plenty of others who had been through bad times like me.
I would recommend it to anyone struggling with depression anyone whose lonely and cant get out. It did me the power of good and brought me friends for life.

Bingo Took Grandchildren On Dream Holiday!
When my friends talked about taking their Grandchildren to Disneyland Paris I listened with envy. How I would have loved to emulate them and get give my grandchildren the holiday of a lifetime. Sean aged 11 and Chantelle aged 9 were both getting to that age where they were desperate to go and you always know as adults that there will come a point where they are going to grow out of it.
I didn’t really have the kind of money needed to make a trip like this as special as possible so I started scrimping and saving as much as possible in an attempt to get enough money together to go for just a few days. Bills kept coming though and I was finding it really difficult to get save up enough.
We finally got the money together with the kids parents and were ready to book up for 3 nights. It was the night before we were about to leave that I was playing bingo at my favorite site foxy bingo and somehow over the course of the night managed to win £500! I must have won 3 times in a row at one point! We immediately decided to phone up and extend our stay in Paris.
The kids loved it and we spent all of half term there! We’d all like to send a big thanks to everyone at foxy bingo who made this possible for us!

Every night at about 7:30 after I had put my two boys to bed I went online to play bingo at Ladbrokes bingo and to chat to my friends in the chat room. I’d made lots of new friends this way. The chat room is a great way to meet people just like yourself and for a single mum with 2 little ones at times it acted like a lifeline to the outside world.
I never expected that my interest in online bingo would lead to romance. The night I met Geoff online at Ladbrokes bingo I knew we were going to get on well as chatting to him was just so easy and we had so much in common. We were both single parents and we both enjoyed gardening and nights in front of the tele with a takeaway.
It wasn’t long before Geoff and I decided to meet up, we lived less than fifty miles from each other so we met half way. My mum looked after the kids for the day so I was free to enjoy myself. We clicked straght away and neither of us wanted the date to end.
From that day on rarely a week went by without us seeing each other and now Geoff and his daughter have moved in and we are one big happy family. My boys love him! We send a big thanks to Ladbrokes bingo for getting us together!

In 1999 my daughter bought me a beautiful German Shepard to keep me company and guard the house at night. My puppy, christened Lotto, by my seven year old granddaughter came from the local Animal Rescue center where she’d been abandoned by her previous owners.
She quickly became my constant companion so imagine my distress when after being involved in a minor road accident she needed an operation to re-set the bones in her right leg. The operation was going to cost upwards of £400 money I just didn’t have. But miracles do happen!
